PNU SesteC Is Qualified to Conduct International Certification Examinations  Release Date 2012-05-17

PNU’s Seismic simulation test Center ( SESTEC ) is now qualified to conduct internationally recognized certification examinations related to seismic simulation.

As KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) recently recognized SesteC as an internationally certified test organization, the Center has gained recognition for its seismic simulation testing capability. The Center is now qualified to conduct strict and accurate tests in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and to issue the results of certification examinations.

The results of three tests including MIL-STD-167-1A (Department of Defense Test Method Standard, Mechanical Vibrations of Shipboard Equipment Type Ⅰ, Ⅱ), KS R 9144 (seismic tests for train parts) and National Radio Research Agency Announcement No. 2009-3 (Seismic testing of electrical and communications facilities) issued by the Center will be recognized in Korea as well as in 21 countries of APLAC and 52 countries of ILAC. The Center will seek the accreditation of additional standards related to seismic testing in the future.

PNU’nun Sismik simülasyon test Merkezi (SESTEC) artık sismik simülasyonla ilgili uluslararası kabul görmüş sertifika sınavları yapmaya hak kazanmıştır. KOLAS (Kore Laboratuvar Akreditasyon Şeması) kısa süre önce SesteC'i uluslararası sertifikalı bir test organizasyonu olarak kabul ettiğinden, Merkez sismik simülasyon testi yeteneği ile tanınmıştır. Merkez şimdi ISO / IEC 17025 gerekliliklerine uygun olarak katı ve doğru testler yapmaya ve sertifika sınavlarının sonuçlarını vermeye yetkilidir. MIL-STD-167-1A (Savunma Bakanlığı Test Yöntemi Standardı, Gemi Donanımı Ekipmanlarının Mekanik Titreşimleri Tip Ⅰ, Ⅱ), KS R 9144 (tren parçaları için sismik testler) ve Ulusal Radyo Araştırma Ajansı Duyuru No. 2009-3 (elektrik ve iletişim tesislerinin sismik testi) Kore'de olduğu gibi 21 APLAC ülkesinde ve 52 ILAC ülkesinde tanınacaktır. Merkez, gelecekte sismik testlerle ilgili ek standartların akreditasyonunu arayacaktır.
